Dit handboek combineert de drie verschillende handboeken die eerder gepubliceerd zijn in deze serie over AJS, Matchless en Norton een-cylinder motorfietsen.
Norton bevat in deze periode de 19 (596 cc), de ES2 ( 498 cc) en de 50 (348 cc). Tegelijkertijd waren de gelijkwaardige AJS motorfietsen de 348 cc 16/16S en de 498 cc 18/18S. De Matchless modellen waren de G3LS, G3S, G3 en de G80S, G80. De Mark II Norton 348 en 498 hadden ook vergelijkbare Matchless motoren.

This handbook combines the three separate manuals previously published in this series on AJS, Matchless and Norton single-cylinder motorcycles.
Norton in this period included the 19 (596 cc), the ES2 (498 cc) and the 50  (348 cc). At the same time AJS equivalents were the 348 cc 16/16S and the 498 cc 18/18S. There were Matchless models G3LS, G3S, G3 and the Majors - G80S, G80. The Mark II Nortons 348 and 498 also had their Matchless equals.
