In 1928 besloten 2 jonge Hongaren een reis rond de wereld te maken op een motorfiets. Hun reis, op een Harley-Davidson met zijspan, startte in Parijs. De volgende 8 jaren reisden Zoltan Sulkowsky en zijn vriend Gyula Bartha door Europa, Afrika, het Midden-Oosten, India, Australie, zuid-oost Azie, China, Japan, Noord en Zuid Amerika en terug naar Europa. Het verslag dat Sulkowsky maakte in 1937 is nu vertaald in het Engels, kompleet met kaarten en originele foto's.

The year was 1928 when two young Hungarians decided to travel around the world on a motorcycle. Their trip, on a Harley-Davidson with sidecar, started in Paris, France. During the next 8 years Zoltan Sulkowsky and his friend Gyula Bartha traveled through Europe, Africa, The Mideast, India, Australia, southeast Asia, China, Japan, North and South America and back to Europe. Sulkowsky's account on their journey, published in Hungary in 1937, has now been translated into English and is presented here, complete with maps and original photographs.
