BOB McINTYRE – MOTOR CYCLING TODAY
WRITTEN BY BOB McINTYRE

Bob McIntyre is held by enthusiasts to be the greatest racing motor cyclist never to become World Champion. As star of the Gilera team in 1957 he seemed certain of a title; he made history as the first man to lap the Isle of Man circuit at over 100 m.p.h. and performed the double feat of winning Junior and Senior T.T. races – then a crash robbed him of his chances and Gilera retired from racing.

Printed in 1962
