Gillet was the last born of the big three Belgian motorcycle manufacturers (and unfortunately also the first of the three to disappear again). Nevertheless, the brand has very quickly managed to build an enviable reputation thanks to the originality, reliability and many other qualities of its motorcycles. They were soon immersed in competitive sports, in which they repeatedly excelled: Grand Prix of Belgium, Paris-Nice, World Records, Bol d’Or, Motocross
