WRITTEN BY JONATHAN WOOD
Performance cars come in all shapes and sizes, and in recent years a number of smaller independent manufacturers have joined the fray with a variety of individual, and sometimes downright eccentric, designs that raise a smile while still being able to hold their own at the traffic-light burn-up.
Each car is fully described in an entry that incorporates a design history and a summary of its main model variants, while a fact-filled specification table lists all the vital data including top speed and the all-important acceleration times that allow readers to make comparisons between their particular favourites.
