RALLYES EN RACES – GATSONIDES’ AVONTUREN
WRITTEN BY WILLEM LEONARD

Gatsonides joint Ford England in 1950 and was factory rally driver.
He won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1953. This he did on questionable manner. At a rally outside help is not permitted, but there were lining the streets people who spontaneously” threw water to his car to cool the brakes. He also won the  Tulpenrallye.
