STEALING SEPPO’S THUNDER
WRITTEN BY DAVID TATLOCK
Motorcycle tales of a vintage track
Published in 2018
“Stealing Seppo’s Thunder” is an autobiographical tour that casts light, and maybe a few shadows, on the author’s involvement in vintage motorcycle roadracing during the years 1996 to 1999. The book showcases hard-working racer Greg Nichols, whose riding skills and victories have given so many people pleasure in watching him. Along the way, I have woven in family reminiscence, a bit of motorcycle lore, including my own struggles with my 1966 Matchless G80 (a two-wheeled version of myself). These amount to side journeys on the way to Mohawk Garage in the Berkshires, where Pete Talabach turned 60s-era Ducati singles into fire-breathing dragons.
The book is new, soft cover, 163 pages, English text.
