VINCENT – CLASSIC BIKE THE VINCENT ISSUE
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE OF THE SNARLING BEAST
Edited February / March 1980
On this first bi-monthly issue of Classic Bike we elected to produce not one, but several articles on that most talked-of, argued-over, iconoclastic motorcycle of all time, the illustrious Vincent. Three leading figures in the Vincent-movement – Phil Irving, Ted Davis and Roy Harper – kindly agreed to contribute articles. Meanwhile, Royce Creasey set off on a Rapide and a Comet to discover whether the reality of riding a Vincent matches the myths created around the machine.
